Our Charities
One of Resurrect Me UK’s primary goals is to make the world a little better for its existence. Although we will promote major charities where we feel this is appropriate within the main site, within our charities section we aim to bring smaller alternative charities to the notice of the wider public. Please take the time to take a look and help where you feel you can. All advertising for charities is provided free of charge and will continue to be so.
Resurrect Lives the not-for-profit arm of our business will work tirelessly to earn money for worthy charities making sure the money goes directly into the hands of those who need it most. Through unique fundraising events we hope to really resurrect the lives of those who most need help in our society.

We believe that integrity in dealings with visitors, clients and partners is a prerequisite for a successful and sustained business relationship. We aim to develop relationships with our clients, partners and suppliers based on mutual trust and all dealings will be conducted in a professional manner at all times.
Resurrect Me UK is committed to and encourages collaboration with charities and organizations that support Fair Trade and operate non-exploitative employment practices, have strong environmental policies and operate disability accessible businesses.
Our ultimate goal is change the trends and practices of the consumer, and we recognize that sophisticated marketing techniques make this extremely difficult! We can however provide a caring environment to help change the way in which we think and buy. We provide some of the most recognized and trusted names around in the form of affiliate links i.e. Ticket master, H.M.V. and many more! This works by Resurrect Me U.K. receiving a payment every time you, as a consumer makes a purchase from one of the links. How can this help? I hear you ask! 5% of all gains from these links goes straight to Resurrect Lives to help our communities, but more importantly data collected from our links helps to provide the companies with market trends, and this information is then used to promote their services further; so if we can provide enough information proving that market trends are in favor of ethical and environmental companies then this can only have a beneficial effect upon us all. The Environment
We are concerned with the conservation of the environment in its broadest sense, and recognize that certain resources are finite and must be used responsibly. We therefore take the following steps to ensure this site and our business have the minimum possible impact on the environment:
- Our web site is hosted with 1and1.co.uk a web host who relies solely on renewable energy. 1&1 now utilize wind, water and solar power in accordance with the Renewable Energy Certification System (RECS). See Here...
- All our pages display initially with a black background saving energy "a given monitor requires more power to display a white (or light) screen than a black (or dark) screen." Roberson et al, 2002 however this can be changed by turning the light on if you struggle to read the text, remember to help the environment by turning it back off after you finish reading. It only saves a little, but every little helps.
- Where possible we run a paperless business all invoicing and banking, correspondence and advertising where possible is paperless. .
- We aim to make partnerships with environmentally sound companies and produce products within our shops which are recycled, environmentally sound and/or suppliers who will take back unused packaging.
- We try where possible to source any suppliers locally to save energy, and encourage local trade.
- Wherever possible, our meetings are conducted using teleconferencing (Skype), to reduce emissions caused by unnecessary travel
Information
Resurrect Me UK believes information for the purpose of its business must be protected against loss of availability, infringement and improper disclosure. We seek to ensure as far as reasonably practicable, that this information is protected. This applies also to intellectual property including inventions, music, trade secrets, artwork, design, expertise, customers’ information etc.
